Phthalimidoperoxycaproic acid (PAP) is derived from caproic acid used as a bleaching agent to whiten the look of the teeth.
While Caproic acid is a fatty acid found naturally in various animal fats and oils, we want to be able to provide a safe alternative to peroxide and bleach to everyone (including vegans!).
