Yummy Food

Your food is yummy and I love knowing its home in my freezer pre or post work out. You have great recipes to offer. Some of the meals I split into two and eat another side with it. I loved the Bolognese, strawberry lemonade shake, mushroom egg bites and the fajitas so far.

This is our family favorite of all the FireRoad meals. It has great flavor, and as always, hits the macros and nutrients check boxes. We pair it with organic instant rice or make them into wraps for those nights when we need a quick meal.

Almost Vegan

I have a history and my battles with Breast Cancer. 2015 was Dianosed DCIS Breast Cancer, Stage 1. 2022-Invasive BC Stage 2. 2024 I felt signs and symptoms that I didn’t feel right: headache, dizzy, Left side weakness. From PCP, to CT STAT-ED, shows mass on the brain. OPS of 2cm tumor, 2 days in ICU, 2 days post ICU. Weighing at 118, was eating Almost Vegan for a week waiting for my FIRE ROAD to arrive (and it arrived while I was admitted to the hospital, 3/4, Monday lol! Eating Almost Vegan for 7 day, cuz I had LABs to do, so I wanted see numbers compare to 2022. Now I only have 2 meals left, waiting and excited, like it’s Christmas. Currently I weighed in 113…and feel strong. I told PT, Home Care Nurse that I am ALMOST VEGAN, they ask so many question and diet is one- my meals are from FIRE ROAD. If I had a cheat day, I would fire up some Filet Mignon and eat lots of Veg on the side. Oh the weight…I might be 110, I will know when I go for my MRI Stimulation today, I have a picture from head to Toe from 2022, pre Chemo Nasty, and what I look like today to compare-I look amazing and strong-the science! Currently my pathology report post 2cm Tumor came back a downer! My Brac 1 mutated and that mf*cker went to the brain. Patiently waiting on my appointment with my Medical Oncologist for my initial visit, post Surgery is this Friday. My Neuro Oncologist surgeon, Dr Zhoa saved my life, got that Mf*ckin 2cm tumor out all intact, and Radiation to follow. So much appoints my head is 🤯. Dr Z did zap me good, cuz my brain is fired up, have not slept good for 2 weeks, maybe due to surgery, and Dexamethasone! I’m so wake at 2am, I get fired up, and I am not to touch my phone or have my Apple Watch, cuz I’m in recovery and need to rest my brain. I have Stage 4 BC, Triple Negative Breast Cancer! I feel so alive and amazing, a miracle is happening to me thru your FIRE ROAD! And I have science to prove it! I ordered the food, I eat the food, I love the food, I get FIRED UP! 2022 BC I wish I had choices. Currently I am staying at my sister’s, my caregiver, my ARMY, post op home care, so having her Fire up my FIRE ROAD food makes it easy, I am less of a burden. I have so much on my plate, I just need to get to next week when I finally take control of my life as I pursue happiness while fighting for my life and waiting for treatment options. I am advocating for myself, which I was a eggshell wife for 28years. While waiting for treatment option for my TNBC, I took control by ordering FIRE ROAD, food medicine! I love the overnight oats, smoothies, all the meals, snack too-pizza meh, just being real! After 6 months of Chemo, your taste buds goes sideways, and 2022 I really needed FIRE ROAD food. 2022 I took FMLA, I worked thru Chemo, took only 5 Weeks off to recover from surgery, worked all thru radiation for 6 weeks. Now I am taking FMLA and can’t work, can’t drive my Subaru, I walk with a walker for now. I am strong, I work as a seasoned LNA and my job is physical. I’m 57yrs whatever the cliche bla bla…I feel amazing cuz FIRE ROAD, and mostly ALIVE!
